Private Yoga Sessions 

A private Yoga session is for you if you would like to fine-tune your practice, make sure your postures are aligned,  you are a beginner and would like to make sure to not injure yourself in class, you are healing from an injury and /or if you enjoy the 1-on-1 experience more than being in class. Conveniently in your home you will receive dedicated attention and your Yoga session will be created around your needs. 

Unlike basic classes, private lessons are a one on one experience and can bring about improvements to one’s mental and physical health and help one achieve personal yoga goals.

It is beneficial to work with a private yoga instructor. In many cases, it will result in better skills, a greater level of confidence and fewer complications. Likewise, private yoga lessons may be the right approach to getting started or taking one’s yoga practice to the next level.

  • Gaining Initial Experience

Beginning yoga students can feel overwhelmed in typical class settings, particularly during the first few classes. In a private yoga session you get shown each move personally, improving your form immediately, which makes it easier to get started.

Private Guided Meditation

For those who wish to really hone in on the practice of meditation, Sky offers private meditation instruction. Private meditation instruction gives you highly personalized attention to help you overcome the things which prevent you from relaxing.

Choosing private meditation instruction may also be right for you if you have a very tight schedule and thus need to work when it is convenient to you. Or you are someone who benefits from being able to move at your own pace.

How Does it Work

A typical first session begins with you talking about your situation and factors affecting your level of peace and relaxation to understand your history in terms of trying to meditate previously and what else is going on in your life that is making you want to develop a meditation practice. After 30 or 35 minutes, you will be lead through a guided meditation based on what was discussed. In subsequent weeks, as you become more comfortable with the format, we will talk in depth about issues in your life that seem to be creating conflict and stress. Each session includes talking, some personalized meditation instruction and a 20 -25 minute guided meditation.

Working in this way will lead to faster results since private meditation instruction is so tailored to you, the individual. These results include a more relaxed disposition throughout your day to day life, sleeping better, reduced emotional upsets and spiritual growth (if this is of interest to you).
